Lakbay Palawan

Are you ready for our tailor-made adventure?

Climb aboard a traditional MotoBanca, and get greeted by the smiling faces of our local crew who will guide you on this magical journey. Our sturdy outrigger boat, made of local materials, is specially designed to navigate the shallow waters and hidden coves that would be your playground for the next three days.

Set sail toward turquoise waters, white sand beaches, and lush jungle foliage. Enjoy the sensation of gliding effortlessly through clear waters, while marveling at the vibrant sea life that swam beneath the hull. Anchor to explore the many islands dotting the surrounding sea, each with its own unique beauty and charm.

The Lakbay team knows the best areas to snorkel and swim, and they eagerly lead the way as you don your mask and fins and dive into the crystal-clear waters. Schools of colorful fish, vibrant coral reefs, sea turtles, and if you are lucky, eagle rays and dugongs are at the rendezvous. For those interested, there is also the possibility to learn the traditional way to catch fish using a simple bamboo fishing rod and a bit of patience.

As you glide through the crystal clear water,  the scent of fragrant herbs and spices will call your attention to a feast of local recipes, passed down through generations of local fishermen, and fresh seafood grilled to perfection over an open flame. Savor every bite of these exquisite dishes as you listen to the sound of waves lapping at the shore.

This is more than just an expedition, it is an adventure that will leave you with a deep appreciation for the local culture, traditions, and way of life, and a sense of wonder at the beauty of the natural world. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, one that would stay with you forever.

Check in or pick up time is between 6:30 to 7am on the first day of expedition to give enough time to travel to Dipnay port and do a quick briefing before we start to sail.

We also aim to arrive early at the first destination to have a better chance of witnessing the undisturbed marine life waiting for us.

For the check out time, we usually give our ka-lakbays enough time to enjoy kayangan lake/darukutan island just before dropping you at Coron/Dipnay port before sunset.
